Trad en Fête
The programme is expanding to mark the 40th anniversary of the Grange Rouge and Trad en fête.
On Friday 7 June from 8.30pm, a short-lived instrumental ensemble of amateur musicians created for the occasion will perform, followed by Rémi Geoffroy.
Saturday 8 June from 10am
The 4 floors will be dedicated to dance and instrument workshops. Programme to come!
Exceptionally for this special occasion, we're offering workshops with the musicians from Naragonia!
5pm-6.30pm: accordion workshop with Pascale Rubens, guitar workshop with Maarten Decombel, ensemble music workshop with Toon Van Mierlo.
In the evening, there'll be dancing on every floor:

Sunday 09 June: Celebrating 40 years of the Grange Rouge together
From 10am and all day long :
Entertainment (free): Folk dance workshop, wooden games, storytelling walk, horse-drawn carriage ride, folk dance demonstration, karaoke, concerts, folk dance for children.
Workshops for all (free):
Making wreaths from dried flowers and wild basketry, computer-assisted music demonstration, creating personalised badges, introduction to self-massage, building a Bresse model, painting a mural, introduction to pottery and lots of other surprises!
From 11.30am:
Grand banquet (booking required, prices to be announced)
From 6pm: Folk dance

And all weekend long, there'll be luthiers displaying their meticulous creations, endless jam sessions, and a deposit box for instruments so you can dance with your hands empty. Refreshments and catering on site.
Catering:
Fast food will be available all weekend long.
La Grange Rouge will be serving pies and quiches prepared by volunteers and baked in a traditional wood-fired oven.
It will also be possible to have a full meal (vegetarian dishes on request)
prepared by us at a cost of €13, subject to availability (priority to registered volunteers and musicians!).
