Spectacle Cultiver le vivant
Sunday 27 September 2026
An immersive audio-visual experience at the heart of the lives of those who bring the land to life.
Two sessions at 11.00 and 16.00, each lasting one hour. Booking recommended; limited places available.
Free for anyone attending the Foire Nature
What if we took the time to listen to the living world?
Through the voices of a farmer-baker and a biodynamic winegrower, *Cultiver
le vivant* immerses us in the daily lives of the men and women who are reinventing their relationship with nature.
Part audio documentary, part musical creation and part sensory exploration of agricultural landscapes, this immersive work gives voice to the challenges, hopes and emotions of those who cultivate the land.
Blending personal stories, sounds recorded in the heart of the fields and scientific insight from a CNRS researcher, the project invites us to see and understand the living world in a new light.
Through an immersive soundscape, the audience is transported into a veritable ‘cinema for the ears’, where every voice, every breath and every sound of nature takes on a unique dimension.
Before the audience’s very eyes, visual artist Patrick Pleutin creates a projected artwork live on stage. Lines, colours and textures bring to life the landscapes, faces and defining moments of the narrative, creating an
experience in which sound and image constantly echo one another.
A poetic and immersive production at the crossroads of art, science and the living world.
Featuring:
> Quentin Marotine: sound design, sound recording, musical composition and mixing.
> Vincent Dumangin: music composition and performance.
> Sarah Bortolamiol: writing assistant, researcher at the CNRS.
> Cécile Dubard: farmer and baker.
> Julien Guillot: biodynamic winegrower.
> Patrick Pleutin: visual artist.
