To mark Solidarity Reuse Week, the ALCG Thrift Shop invites you to discover second-hand shopping in a whole new way, from Wednesday 30 September to Saturday 3 October!
Highlight: ‘The Queens of Second-Hand Fashion’, Saturday 3 October from 2.30 pm to 4 pm. In 30 minutes, put together an outfit based on a given theme using clothes and accessories from the charity shop, then take part in the fashion show and the competition for a chance to win your favourite outfit!

Throughout the week, you can also take a look behind the scenes and pick up some second-hand shopping tips:
Compare prices between new items and their second-hand equivalents.
Share your top tips on the advice board for sustainable and responsible fashion.
Test your knowledge with the second-hand quiz and have fun with the word search game.

Children can also get involved with ‘Create Your Own Style’, a magnetic board for putting together outfits and a drawing workshop on the theme of clothes.

And to extend the experience on social media, share your best second-hand looks using #MonLookSecondeMain and #ReineDeLaSecondeMain.

The second-hand shop is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9.00 am to 12.00 pm and 1.30 pm to 6.00 pm, and on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm (non-stop).
