The Eden Centre, a cultural site run by the Department of Saône-et-Loire, is launching a new season of discovery and wonder. As a gateway to Burgundy's natural riches, the museum invites young and old alike to explore biodiversity through an interactive museum trail and a fascinating cabinet of curiosities. Manipulations, observations, interactive devices and fun activities punctuate the visit. Each room offers a lively approach to the fauna, flora and ecosystems of the region, allowing visitors to understand nature by touching it.
The Eden Centre also offers an accessible and educational approach to astronomy, allowing the public to discover the mysteries of the sky and better understand the universe thanks to its planetarium (sessions during school holidays and at weekends).
NIGHT" temporary exhibition - NEW
Night is a fascinating natural phenomenon that has always evoked mystery, enchantment and apprehension. This exhibition takes you on an immersive journey:
- An encounter with the starry sky,
- Immersion in a nocturnal forest inhabited by animals
- A soothing space devoted to sleep and dreams,
- Discover the myths and creatures of the night.
ACTIVITIES
The Eden Centre team offers creative workshops as a prelude to the year's "nature escapades". On the programme:
- Astro workshop
- Land art
- Bats
- Leaf herbarium
- Inhabitants of the pond
- Garden wildlife
