Musical reading for an actress and a musician with headphones. Magdalena used to be a trapeze artist. Now she's in an institution for the elderly. Her memory is gone, and so are her muscles, which no longer respond. But Magdalena remembers. Despite everything. She clings to her memories, which smell of sawdust and velvet, just as she once held the bar of her trapeze.

The dressing room before us is empty. Only Magdalena's everyday life reaches our ears. And we abandon ourselves to her memories, her smiles and our own nostalgia.

Le Bruit des paillettes is a circus confidence, a celebration, an off-piste performance.
