An insatiable traveller, violinist Clément Janinet has composed a powerfully evocative new repertoire, flirting with Scandinavian jazz and popular music.
For this latest creation, the violinist has brought together an extraordinary trans-European quartet, where his taste for timbral textures rubs shoulders with the world of Renaissance and Baroque music.
With Clément Janinet,violin, composition, Arve Henriksen (NOR),trumpet
Ambre Vuillermoz (FRA), accordion and Robert Lucaciu (GER), double bass. Rich in their complementarities as well as their differences, they patiently sculpt a sound that is uniquely their own.
