A show staged as part of the Contes Givrés festival in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, featuring Yannick Jaulin.
A devil’s advocate who takes a dig at local current affairs.
"Cooking children in a stew, throwing old people off the top of a mountain, transforming oneself into a fervent preacher of fair and responsible coexistence... Stories are the same all over the world. But it’s when they start to take shape, to acquire a scent, a touch of the dusty road, that they truly exist. And that’s when they become interesting” (Yannick Jaulin).
A show that will never be the same from one place to another because, as Yannick says: "Oh, how it tickles me to think of the discoveries to be made in Burgundy”.
Yannick Jaulin, the storyteller who carries his world with his ‘goule’ and his ‘parlhange’. "Because I am a storyteller, I can rise to this challenge: to be rooted in reality, in the current state of the world, and to let it resonate through mythological words and allegorical tales; to be both above the earth and in the cellars of the world.”
