Exposition Patrick Godde Photographie "Le Temps en Mouvement"

Professional photographer Patrick Godde has had a close relationship with the medium of photography since childhood, initially as a way of observing the world and later as a means of expressing his sensitivity and creativity. In his artistic practice, he goes beyond the visible and chooses to suggest rather than show, to evoke a feeling rather than simply present something for the eye; and Patrick Godde achieves his aims.
In his new exhibition, ‘Time in Motion’, he invites us to explore time in its three aspects: time that passes, time that erases, and time that transforms the moment.
Long exposures, movement and blurring thus become the tools of his reflection: silhouettes in flux, bodies fading away, places becoming surreal... Patrick Godde diverts us from photography that freezes a moment in time. Through his work, we enter into and feel the passage of time.
