The exhibition "1939-45: la guerre racontée" (1939-45: the war recounted) features around twenty panels showing the major phases of the war in Bresse, and particularly in Sagy and St-Martin, right up to the Liberation, with the role of the local Resistance.
With photos, documents and period objects, including military costumes.
Showing of a short film by Jean-Paul Petit on the plane crash at Savigny-en-Revermont in 1941.
Accompanied by a book (same title) that brings together all the accounts collected over the last 50 years in the Friends of Education newsletter, and summarises them with new research: war, daily life in 1939-45, the Desmoulins company, the Pigeon Resistance group.
