Chansons pour Camille
Wednesday 21 May 2025
Alice Waring, Anaïs Pin and Robin Limoge address songs to a little girl, Camille, and through her to each of the children attending the concert. The sounds of the voices and instruments offer a wealth of timbres that captivate the audience. Much of the repertoire is taken from the album CAMILLE recorded with Steve Waring. The album features songs by André Ricros, Camille's grandfather.
The lyrics celebrate the arrival of a child in a family and the first emotions of life... "Je te promets ma demoiselle que je vais t'aimer. Long, long, long, long, time will go on singing..." (André Ricros). (André Ricros). The repertoire is also aimed at parents: "Ne marche pas, marchera un jour, on verra bien on a le temps en attendant ne t'arrête pas de la bercer pour sa beauté...". (André Ricros). Here, Alice collaborates once again with Robin Limoge, with whom she has shared the stage for 15 years, notably in several shows and concerts for young audiences (Concertimo, Naiss'Anches, Le Chant de la Tourterelle, Monsieur Madame, and Steve Waring 50 ans de scène). Anaïs Pin joins them with a wealth of experience in musical theatre and performing for young audiences. (Le banquet de la mandibule, La belle escampette, Qui vive).
