Valérie & Vincent (a film enthusiast) welcome you to an authentic, charming farm outbuilding that has been carefully restored (once part of the neighbouring, perfectly renovated traditional Bresse farmhouse dating from the 19th century, which they now live in), tucked away in a quiet, secluded spot on the edge of a small pond fringed with reeds (home to frogs) on a peaceful, enclosed, wooded 8,000 m² estate, full of flowers and greenery, designated an LPO nature reserve, largely maintained ‘ecologically’ (sustainable mowing and wildflower planting) and home to a peaceful farmyard where animals roam freely in the spirit of a ‘micro-farm’ (geese, hens and a cockerel, Complete tranquillity in the heart of the Bresse countryside, within a small rural residential hamlet nestled on a cul-de-sac, in the heart of the lush lower Doubs valley, a gentle, wooded plain dotted with beautiful wild forests (partly protected as a ZNIEFF site for its rich flora and fauna), not far from the foothills of the Jura mountains. A soothing little ‘corner of the countryside’ and a true haven of peace and tranquillity, nestled amongst fields and meadows, a stone’s throw from a woodland and idyllic ponds, not far from the village and its leisure centre featuring a rare supervised ‘natural’ lake converted into a ‘natural swimming’ area (‘Espace Robelin’ with a refreshment bar, a snack bar and various leisure activities).
