Louhans-Châteaurenaud
Louhans, this « pleasant site along the water » as the Burgunds used to call it, is a medieval city which has kept and preserved its original planning. The 157 arcades in the main cabbled street date back to the 12th century and make of this street the longest street with arches in Europe. You will discover the treasures of its heritage trolling through its inner courtyards, its houses with arcades as the loggia or the house of the bailiff, the church Saint Pierre and its polychromatic glazed tiled roof. The Hôtel-Dieu or General Hospital dates from the end of the 17th century together with its apothecary store. Its printing museum and its museum of Fine Arts. History and culture of the Deaf persons. Teddy bear museum. Market every Monday morning.
