Owners of horses (paddocks nearby, visits possible), Martine & Éric welcome you to a charming traditional Bresse farmhouse, built in the 19th century with brick and half-timbering, carefully restored, nestled peacefully in a small rural hamlet, in a tranquil setting of wooded meadows, at the edge of a small wood. In the heart of the unspoiled Louhans countryside (largely protected as a ZNIEFF for its rich fauna and flora), a stone's throw from the banks of the Seille, a remarkable ecosystem appreciated by anglers and nature lovers alike, protected as a "Natura 2000" site (a reserve for migratory birds, rare plant species, numerous fish including the famous wels catfish, and other wildlife), not far from the foothills of the Jura Mountains. A bucolic, gently rolling landscape, blending agriculture and unspoiled nature, between fields, hedged meadows dotted with ponds and rivers, and beautiful wild forests (perfect for relaxing walks or mountain biking). This spacious and very comfortable cottage boasts a warm, rustic charm with contemporary touches, harmonizing with the unique character of an old rural home (original beams and timber frame) and a carefully curated, unusual "ethnic" decor. It exudes charm and character, and is ultra-cozy and inviting. The bedrooms are nestled under the eaves, creating a cozy, cabin-like atmosphere.
