In the heart of the Burgundian Bresse region, a spacious, fully self-contained family home set in peaceful, leafy surroundings. The interior of this converted old farmhouse has been renovated to provide comfort and modernity, whilst preserving its authenticity and old-world charm, and to accommodate up to 12 people. It is the renovated part of this property that makes up the holiday cottage.
On the ground floor, an east-facing terrace leads to the fitted kitchen, which opens onto the dining area and is equipped with everything you need (oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, various kitchen appliances, dishwasher, filter and pod coffee machines, toaster, pots and pans, crockery, etc.). In the TV lounge, a relaxation area with a sofa bed, you will find board games, regional information, and, subject to availability, the opportunity to purchase various local products. Adjacent to this is a shower room and a separate toilet.
A beautiful staircase leads up to a mezzanine featuring a superb bookcase and provides access to the five bedrooms on the first floor, all fitted with wardrobes or cupboards, as well as a second bathroom with a separate toilet.

You will be 10 minutes from the A39 motorway and 30 minutes from the A6 and A40 motorways.
Varennes-Saint-Sauveur is a charming, lively village where you will find a beautifully restored former tile works and all the essential shops (small supermarket, bakery, butcher’s, dairy/cheese shop, restaurant, pizzeria, etc.) as well as a GP’s surgery and a pharmacy.
Nestled between the Ain, Jura and Mâconnais regions, the area boasts a rich and varied historical, cultural and gastronomic heritage (including Bresse wines and chickens). Louhans, with its arcades and its traditional Monday morning market featuring the unmissable calf’s head. Cuiseaux, a small medieval town and artists’ village.
