Annie & Jean-Marc (painter whose canvases you can admire on site) open the doors of a charming typical post-war house, carefully restored & full of history (former "dairy"), nestled in the calm on the edge of meadows (with peaceful sheep as privileged neighbors in season), in the heart of a peaceful residential hamlet located on the edge of the town centre (renowned for its "Ecomuseum of Bresse" nestled in a prestigious 17th century castle). Nestled in the heart of the verdant Doubs valley, dotted with idyllic ponds (and bordered by several Natura 2000 sites renowned for their remarkable ecosystems), on the first foothills of the Jura Mountains, Pierre-de-Bresse enjoys a magnificent, unspoiled setting of gentle countryside, blending unspoiled nature and agriculture (protected as a ZNIEFF area for its rich fauna and flora), amidst fields, meadows, and wild forests. It boasts numerous amenities, including excellent sports and leisure facilities (fishing lake adjacent to an eco-friendly leisure center protected as a Natura 2000 site, fitness trail, Parkrun, Agorespace, etc.). This comfortable family-run bed and breakfast is nestled under the eaves, creating a cozy, rustic atmosphere. It exudes charm and features a spacious bathroom.
