Marlène and Yannick welcome you to an authentic 19th-century farmhouse (an atypical longère due to its completely original architecture in the Bresse region), a home steeped in family history, meticulously restored and nestled in the peaceful countryside of Louhans, within a tranquil little rural hamlet just 2.5 km from the center of the vibrant market town of Sornay (offering several shops and numerous events throughout the year). Enjoy a pleasant, unspoiled environment nestled in a charming rural and natural setting, perched on a small hill perfectly exposed to the west, overlooking a vast plateau of meadows, at the edge of a small wild forest. The setting is completely restful and peaceful, offering the opportunity to observe local wildlife (deer are a regular visitor, especially in the evening!). The cottage is very comfortable, spacious, and bright, with a refined contemporary style and elegant simplicity. A serene and tranquil atmosphere. Large, sheltered, open terrace with no overlooking neighbors. Large, natural 2000m² grounds with a small fruit orchard (cherry, plum, etc. - pick your own during your stay), a perfect play area for children (with a swing). A natural pétanque court is located in the courtyard, and there is also a sheltered ping-pong table. Beautiful, unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside.

Ground floor: living room/kitchen/lounge, one bedroom (double bed 160x200cm) with ensuite shower room, separate WC, laundry room. First floor: 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed 140x190cm and a single bed 90x190cm / the other with a double bed 140x190cm and two single beds 90x190cm), shower room (shower/WC). Garden (2000m²) + gravel courtyard + covered terrace + wide covered walkway along the courtyard + private parking. Bicycle storage. Table tennis in a covered area. Mini-market and small shops 2.5 km away. All amenities 6 km away.
