Traditional French songs a capella.
Singer and composer Catherine Faure has built her polyphonic repertoire around a vocal quintet that she forms
with Claire Monot, Alice Waring, Robin Limoge and Julien Picard.
Five friends, five voices and a drum make up this Burgundian vocal group.
It draws its inspiration from a traditional French repertoire, revisited in a free spirit,
arranged and enriched with original compositions.
These universal songs are deployed here in polyphony
with pop and sometimes jazz accents, echoing the love stories of women
of women past and present.
