Annie and Jean-Marc (a painter whose canvases you can admire in the gîte) welcome you to a charming, typical post-war house, carefully renovated and steeped in history (formerly a dairy), situated in a peaceful location on the edge of meadows (with gentle sheep as neighbors in season), in a residential area adjoining the village center (and its renowned "Écomusée de la Bresse" housed in a prestigious 17th-century château). Beautiful, unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside. Nestled in the heart of the verdant Doubs valley, dotted with idyllic ponds, on the first foothills of the Jura mountains, Pierre-de-Bresse enjoys a magnificent, unspoiled setting of gentle countryside, combining unspoiled nature and agriculture with numerous amenities and excellent sports and leisure facilities (fishing lake with an eco-friendly leisure center protected as a Natura 2000 site / fitness trail & Parkrun / Agorespace, etc.). This spacious and very comfortable gîte boasts a warm, "country chic" feel, ultra-cozy and inviting, blending vintage and antique touches. It exudes charm and character.
