Housed in an old barn, this exhibition retraces farm work in Burgundy Bresse from the 19th century to the present day and the trades associated with Bresse agriculture and food.
Saturday and Sunday: Exhibition of maize from around the world
For many people, maize is yellow. For Martin, it's also blue, green, purple, red and even white. He plants and collects all sorts of colourful varieties from all over the world. He sows, observes, notes, selects, harvests, researches and exchanges with the sole aim of ensuring that all these varieties survive. In 30 years, he has planted more than 300 different maize seeds that have acclimatised to the Bresse soil.
Sunday: The museum's patois speakers will be on hand to tell you some Bresse anecdotes, and there will be guided tours with an object and a meeting.
