Café mortel

The café mortel is a convivial time to talk freely about death in a warm environment, over a complimentary hot drink and a piece of cake. Free and anonymous testimonies, led by a person trained in death cafés.
Aimed at adults and teenagers who want to talk or listen about death. The library remains open for younger children during this time, who remain under the responsibility of the adults accompanying them.
The concept of death cafés was created by Swiss sociologist and ethnologist Bernard Crettaz in the early 2000s to encourage people to "bring death out of silence".
