Concert de musique sacrée
Concert of sacred music by the regional choir Alter Chor composed of 70 choristers directed by Florence Lardy-Gaillot, a well-known singing teacher in the Dole region and accompanied on the piano by Damien Groleau. Every year since 2017, Alter Chor has been performing a complete work: Mozart's "Requiem", Rossini's "Stabat Mater", Puccini's "Messa di Gloria", Dvorak's "Requiem" and Donizetti's "Missa di Credo e Gloria", and has been performing them in 8 towns in Burgundy Franche Comté. This year's programme includes French music of the 19th century by two composers: three pieces by César Franck and the Requiem by Saint Saëns, works which alternate very rhythmic parts with others with more serious accents and superb solo parts.
